Serbia Belgrade Waterfront

Belgrade Waterfront is one of the largest urban development projects in Europe. Situated on the south-eastern bank of the Sava River, a large area with office, residential and commercial buildings is being built.

Since 2014, the banks of the Sava River have been redeveloped. In the course of revitalising the river as a habitat, accompanying paths, riverbank accesses and promenades are being newly created. Among the far-reaching measures of the project, the existing canal network is being renewed and the discharge of waste water into the Sava is being stopped in order to positively influence the sensitive ecology of the river.

The function of the DGNSS is the accompanying control of the bank monitoring.
